Candidate will ideally be located in a major metropolitan city east of the Mississippi river, preferably in the Northeast region

Salary:
$70K Base + performance-based bonus to be determined

Job Description: 
The Sales Director - East Coast Region is responsible for managing all aspects of sales within the eastern region of the United States within the Natural Products Trade.  This region includes all states east of the Mississippi River plus several additional Midwest states.  This position will report directly to the Vice President of Sales.  

The Company:
This company is a manufacturer and supplier of natural consumer goods, including nutritional supplements and natural skin care products, with 14 years of success in the Natural Products trade and mass market. 


Responsibilities

• Manage relationships between the company and national and regional distributors
• Manage regional brokerages
• Manage key retail accounts
• Manage annual marketing and promotional plan and budget
• Conduct product training and education sessions with brokers and retail accounts
• Provide market feedback
• Attend national trade shows
• Manage and attend regional retail and trade shows
• Record and provide feedback to sales management
• Meet sales quotas


Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in business-to-business sales
• 1+ years experience as a regional sales director preferred
• Knowledge and experience within the Natural Products Trade is strongly preferred. 
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree
• Self-managed and motivated
• Up to 50% travel
• MS Office proficiency required
• Experience with Goldmine (or other database management systems) preferred
