NBJ Announces 2005 Business Achievement Awards

The Nutrition Business Journal, the leading publication about market statistics and trends in the natural nutrition and dietary supplement industries, has announced its Business Achievement Awards for 2005. The awards will be given at a special ceremony at NBJ’s annual Newport Industry Summit for business CEOs and leaders in Dana Point, California, July 26-28, 2006. NBJ notes that many of the awards are based on data submitted from nominators, including nominated companies, which are based on annual sales data but that NBJ did not conduct audits of these data to verify information or claims submitted with nominations.

The NBJ Awards are based on 8 categories: growth in large, mid-sized, and small companies (selling finished products); growth in ingredient suppliers; best stock performers; investment in science and research; efforts on behalf of the industry; environment and sustainability; personal achievement; and social responsibility.

Most of these categories include a Gold, Silver and Bronze medal level. Over 50 companies, organizations and individuals were recognized for their growth, business strategies, investments in science and research, contributions to the industry, sustainable practices, etc. by NBJ. A full release with numerous details on each of the award recipients and direct links to their respective websites is available on the NBJ website (www.nutritionbusiness.com) and going to the “Awards” button, or at the following URL http://www.store.yahoo.com/nbj/2005awards.html.
