Airborne On-the-Go Named “Best Product” by NACDS

Recently-released herbal supplement Airborne On-the-GoŽ was chosen as “Best Product” in the Health Care/OTC (over-the-counter) category by the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) at the organization’s 2006 Marketplace Conference in June.1

The product was chosen by a panel of judges representing chain drug stores nationwide. Over 300 products in 12 categories were reviewed for the conference’s Marketplace Product Showcase.

Airborne On-the-Go, released nationwide in September, is the latest addition to the AirborneŽ line of dietary supplements. The new product retains the original Airborne’s same 17-herb-vitamin-and-mineral formula but in individually wrapped packets. The packets of lemon-lime flavored powder can be poured into any size water bottle for an immune system boost to fight airborne germs and viruses.

Airborne, created by second-grade teacher Victoria Knight-McDowell, has become the # 1 selling natural product in the cough and cold aisle of all major chain drugstores, and with the new packaging and “Best Product” title, the effervescent doesn’t look to be in any jeopardy of fizzling out any time soon.
