Tea Ingredients Annual 2008


A new publication, Tea Ingredients Annual 2008, is being compiled. The publisher, the Sage Group, LLC based in Denver, Colorado a research think-tank focused on the specialty tea industry, is actively collecting information for an inclusive directory of companies featuring tea-based ingredients and analytical services.

Targeted to release in January 2008, this publication will include variant information specific to the tea industry. Such information includes tea definitions and terminology, sources for tea ingredients (extracts, essences, flavorings, concentrates, etc.), tea specific analytical testing laboratories, and more (A. White oral communication, December 10, 2007). “This publication is targeted at product formulators and manufacturers seeking highly relevant, ingredient supply resources for foods, beverages, skincare products and anything else requiring tea-based ingredients,” said Autumn White, Sage Group publications editor.

The preference for listings is highly specialized tea and herbal tea ingredient suppliers and analytical service providers, but all interested companies are encouraged to e-mail Autumn White, at teareport@yahoo.com before January 15, 2008, though not all companies who send in a listing form will be guaranteed inclusion.

Also available from Sage Group is the 6th edition of the Specialty Tea is “Hot” Report® at a discounted rate for December 2007. Published in Spring 2006, this report is a useful collection of tea information from 2005 including statistics, specialty tea trends, new product concepts, science, expert opinions, tea business resources, and consumer demographics.1 Usually $795, this report is available at the special price of $495 plus shipping and handling if purchased before December 31st, 2007. Sage Group will make a donation of $50 to ABC for every copy of the 6th Edition Specialty Tea Is “Hot” Report sold before December 31, 2007 (if ABC’s name is mentioned when ordering).
