Mark Blumenthal, Founder and Executive Director of the American Botanical Council was quoted in an article about green and black tea and the possible health benefits. ABC sent her the new Green & Black Tea monograph from ABC's forthcoming book, The ABC Clinical Guide to Herbs, containing a detailed review of the basic pharmacology of tea and summaries of many of the clinical studies supporting tea's cardiovascular and chemopreventive benefits. ABC's tea monograph formed much of the basis for her initial research on tea over the past few weeks.
