Carvi aetheroleum, caraway oil.
Composition of Drug
Caraway oil consists of the essential oil obtained from the dried, ripe fruits of Carum carvi L. [Fam. Apiaceae], as well as its preparations in effective dosage. The main ingredient of caraway oil is d-carvone.
Uses

Dyspeptic problems, such as mild, spastic condition of the gastrointestinal tract, flatulence and fullness.
