Carvi fructus, caraway seed.
Composition of Drug
Caraway consists of the dried, ripe fruit of Carum carvi L. [Fam. Apiaceae], as well as its preparations in effective dosage.
The drug contains essential oil.

Dyspeptic problems such as mild, spastic conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, bloating, and fullness.

Daily dosage:
- 1.5 - 6 g of seeds;
- equivalent preparations.
