Name of Drug
Centaurii herba, centaury herb.
Composition of Drug
Centaury consists of the dried, above-ground parts of Centaurium minus Moench (syn. C. umbellatum Gilbert; Erythraea centaurium (L.) Persoon) [Fam. Gentianaceae], as well as their preparations in effective dosage.
The drug has a bitter value of minimum 2000.
