Piceae turiones recentes, fresh fir shoots.
Composition of Drug
Preparations from the fresh shoots, approximately 10-15 cm long, collected in spring, of Picea abies (L.) Karsten and/or A. alba Miller (syn. A. pectinata (Lamarck) de Candolle) [Fam. Pinaceae].
It contains essential oil.

Internal use:
- Catarrh of the respiratory tract.
External use:
- Mild rheumatic or neuralgic pains.

Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed:
Internal:
- Average daily dose is preparation equivalent to 5 - 6 g of drug.
External:
- In baths equivalent to 200 - 300 g drug for one full bath.
