Name of Drug
Lupuli strobulus, hops strobile, hops.
Composition of Drug
Hops, consisting of the dried strobiles of Humulus lupulus L. [Fam.
Moraceae], and their preparations in effective dosage.
The drug contains at least 0.35 percent (v/w) essential oil.
Other ingredients are a- and -bitter acids and 2-methyl-3-butanol.
Uses

Mood disturbances such as restlessness and anxiety, sleep disturbances.

Mode of Administration
Cut drug, powdered drug or dry extract powder for infusions or decoctions or other preparations. Liquid and solid preparations for internal use.
