Hederae helicis folium, ivy leaf.  

Composition of Drug

Ivy leaf consists of the dried leaf of Hedera helix L.  [Fam. Araliaceae], as well as its preparations in effective dosage.  

The drug contains saponins.  

Uses

Catarrhs of the respiratory passages, symptomatic treatment of chronic inflammatory bronchial conditions.
