Citri sinensis pericarpium, orange peel.
Composition of Drug
Orange peel consists of the fresh or dried outer peel of ripe fruits of Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck [Fam. Rutaceae], separated from the white pulp layer, as well as its preparations in effective dosage.
The drug contains essential oil and bitter principles.
