Name of Drug
Passiflorae herba , passionflower herb.
Composition of Drug
Passionflower herb consists of fresh or dried, above-ground parts of Passiflora incarnata L. [Fam. Passifloraceae], as well as their preparations in effective dosage.
The drug contains flavonoids (vitexin), maltol, coumarin derivatives, and small amounts of essential oil.
The content of harman alkaloids varies; it must not exceed 0.01 percent.

Dosage
Daily dosage:
- 4 - 8 g of herb;
- equivalent preparations.
Mode of Administration
