Name of Drug
Pimpinellae radix, pimpinella root.
Composition of Drug
Pimpinella root consists of the dried rhizomes and roots of Pimpinella saxifraga L. s.l. and/or P. major (L.) Hudson s.l. [Fam. Apiaceae], as well as its preparations in effective dosage.
The drug contains essential oil and saponins.

Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed:
Daily dosage:
- 6 - 12 g drug;
- 6 - 12 g pimpinel tincture (1:5);
